Beginners level. You want to start your adventure with Collegiate Shag or you have some dance experience (e.g. you’ve participated in one weekend Collegiate Shag workshop) but you feel you still need more work on your basics.
Intermediate level. You dance Shag every week on parties and you can follow and lead steps comfortably. You are taking classes for at least 1 semester or you have some experience from workshops! Concepts of lines and body posture are familiar to you. You can dance to fast music without any problems, you know many different variations. You can feel any movement and steps of your partner.

Intermediate/Advanced level. You meet all the Fire Blaze level conditions plus - you’re taking regular classes for more than half a year and you’ve participated with some Collegiate Shag workshops in the last year. You can adapt to your partner’s level. You know the technique and you want to improvise and play with the rhythm. You improve your own steps and ideas. You know which of them match to the music. You’ve started participating in competitions. You are a quick learner badass!!!

Ice Baby (St. Louis Shag)
Beginners+/Intermediate level. You have some dance experience (e.g. you’ve participated at least one weekend St. Louis Shag workshops). You can follow and lead steps. Concepts of lines and body posture are familiar to you. You can dance to middle-fast music without any problems. You can feel any movement and steps of your partner.
